it's been some time since i last blogged. and right now, i just have so much to thank God for, so much that I want to share w everyone : ) well, i'm into my 5th day of work at GIC..i really thank God for being w me throughout the last 5 days.
The last 4 days were just attending training workshops..and as i joined this training during the last wk of its run, I felt a lil "extra", since everyone else had alr established rapport w each other and built their friendships. I really thank God for being my Friend and for bringing pple to befriend me : ) i thank God for this company..it is efficient and takes great care of its employees. believe me when i say that everyone in the company, regardless of dept and position were equally helpful to me. it is efficient because all the necessary admin work, such as giving me a staff pass, giving me access to the diff information systems were promptly done in the last 4 days. this form of efficiency really exceeded my expectations because prior to this, i did not have a good experience during my internship at a well-est. bank. all i can say is, God has been faithful for the past 4 days and He has kept to His promises.
anor thing to thank God for: i found out that i have 3 christian colleagues!! hahaah..this is really the nicest surprise that i had the whole wk..for a moment, i thought my supervisor was exaggerating when he said that there are quite a no. of christians in the division. but i'm really encouraged when 1 of the 3 told me that our division has the most no. of christians. indeed, God really provides : ) it is so impt for me to know pple who share the same faith at work, because during down periods, it is these pple who can really give u the encouragement and even pray for you! oh ya, there is a Christian Fellowship too in GIC, which i am considering whether to join..
i want to thank God too for my parents, whom i have breakfast w every morning. it gives us time to catch up w one another. I thank God for their love for me in asking me at the end of each day of my day at work : ) i thank God also for Josiah ; ) He has been really sweet in keeping me company after work whenever he can, and for being patient and tolerant towards me when i'm not in the best of moods.
am looking fwd to e end of the day now, when i'll be meeting my beloved dwarfs for dinner! miss them so much..and cant wait to catch up w all of them. and gwyneth, if you're reading this, i've been praying for all 3 of you everyday. really miss you too and hope to catch up w u online soon. take care my dear!
before i go, i just want to share w you guys the verse that has been encouraging me all this while..and it's my new-found fav verse hahaah, it reminds me that i do not have to be discouraged or dismayed, because God promised that He will be there to strengthen me and to help me. and God is a promise-keeping God : )
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
