i spoke more den 10 sentences w one of my cousins in a single day..or make dat a single year..today was a special day for me..cos my 3rd uncle (daddy's bro) and his family invited us to their home for dinner..the family whom i only see once a yr during cny..so i was kind of looking fwd to it..anticipating wat might happen during the dinner..and wondering whether there'll be moments of awkwardness..
but thank God!! all went well..almost everyone turned up..and the dinner was good..found out much stuff bout my 3rd uncle and his family..for one, i realised tat the entire family of my dad can cook!! haha..and their wives can't..hmm..will this be a family thing..i can't cook at all actually..but the mee rebus tat 3rd uncle cooked was good..haha..well, i just thank God for this time where everyone could really say much more stuff den just "happy new yr"..and the image of my dad and mum sitting in the balcony w my other 2 uncles and their wives..chatting away..will stay in my mind for a long time..
but i pray dat this family will come to Christ one day..everyone is a Christian cept for this family..it's very sad..and i guess it must have hurt my grandparents so much when my 3rd uncle chose to go back on his faith..but like wat i learnt during precepts today, God nv turns His back on us..and when we believe in Him, our salvation is sealed w promise by the Holy Spirit..no one in this world can break this seal and take our salvation away frm God..i hope tat this family will accept this great gift of grace someday..
