went for yf today again..and this time, we did precept studies..it's a way of studying God's word and applying it to our lives..it's based on discussion so it's not as boring as those sermons where one guy just talks all the way..
and today i learnt bout God's blessings on every believer..it just amazes me at how He has planned out everything for us..and the blessings that He has bestowed upon us..if we believe in Jesus Christ.
1. We are predestined to be His children..that is, way before anyone of us entered into this world, God already knew us and has acknowledged us to be His children..
2. Once we believe in Jesus, our sins will be forgiven..and tat's cos of God's grace to us.. 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us.." the forgiveness of sins is a promise that God has given us..and being the faithful God, He'll keep His promises to us..
3. God's lavishes His grace on us..if we are His children..
so i really thank God for reminding me of all these blessings that He has given to me..more den 19 yrs ago..i've known these promises all along..but honestly, i've never been grateful for them..and sometimes take them for granted..knowing that God has given me all these blessings makes me feel really special.. : )
and i had the best time w my churchies today!!! haha..i've rarely get to have dinners w them on sats now..so i really had fun today!! after dinner, everyone of us just suddenly went into a photo-taking craze..and started taking pics haha..i really thank God for each and everyone of them dat was at dinner today..and it was a big crowd!! i love my churchies very much................haha..really looking fwd to a time like this again : )
somehow i wished the day hasn't passed so fast..cos i'm now faced w the report again! but i thank God that He has seen me thru 2 pgs of it : ) another 2 pgs to go!!!
