today (saturday) will be a day tat will be etched in my memories for a long long time..it was Sisters' Appreciation Night 2004..a night where the guys will show their appreciation for us, the sisters in the YF..and i'm so overwhelmed by wat they did..never in my past 10+ yrs of knowing these guys could i had thought they could come up w everything they did today..
first of all, there was a splendidly done video of the guys showing their appreciation for the sisters ( i'm one of them! ) ..i cried most of the time the video was shown..it's not everyday u hear the guys say wat they said in the video..haa..after which, the guys presented roses to the girls together w blessings from the word of God. it was such a sweet moment..and there were roses!!! haa..
for dinner, we had a sumptous dinner..we started out w a cold dish..had sharks fins, dim sum, century egg porridge, loads of veggie, chicken, prawns, pasta and ice-cream type dessert..haa! we were so full cos the servings were just huge..( apparently the guys cooked the amt for 20 girls..but there were like only 7 of us..) i finished a whole plate of pasta by myself..and tat was after 5 dishes..but i did not want to waste the effort of the guys..who started cooking way in the morning..
i just wanna give a big teddy hug to the guys : josiah, soon seng, alex, jonathan kor, johnathan ng, reggie, darrell, daniel, michael and shaun! i just want them to know tat i really appreciate everything they had done for us..this sisters night made the previous bros night look so amateurish and unorganised..everything tonight was carefully well-planned..i really thank God for all these bros-in-Christ!!!! i love each and every single one of them to the core!!!!
besides this, i went swimming in the morning! w dear..haa..i swam for more den 1 hr i think..and i really need the exercise..i got so breathless easily laa...met a-xing and marcus there too..haa..both preparing for army i guess.. ; ) it really feels gd after an exercise!!
and i met jiaxin on the bus on the way for swimming! she was gng to work at jurong point..so glad to see her man..and i realli miss her and lyly..wonder whether we'll meet up anytime not..
