today's Brothers' Appreciation Night..a day specially set for the brothers-in-Christ in GTF..a day where we the ladies do something special to show our appreciation to our fellow brothers! haa..just wanna thank God for a blessed time together! indeed, the brothers felt our love towards them..haha..
reached gwyn's home bout 2:15pm..and started preparations for the shepherd's pies..haha..had fun mashing the potatoes..though there were lumps of them :) the program started at 5pm and the ladies took turns appreciating each guy tat was present..well, i was quite at a loss of words for when appreciating soon seng, josiah and alex..hmm..cos they're the closest guy frens i've known..ever since primary sch..we've been in the same class together w joanne and gwyn..like wat gwyn said, 'frens for so long..it's just hard to say wat we feel in words" but i'm sure they know how much i love them =D oh ya..i was so glad tat Alex came today =) when i mentioned to him bout this last sun, he didn't say whether he was coming..but am just so thankful tat he eventually came! haa..during the program, the weather was threatening..w thunder and clouds everywhere..but thank God! He gave us such good weather..windy and cool..though we couldn't light the candles cos of tat..haa..but at least the rain did not pour on us! =)
hope the bros like the gifts..nicely done by gwyn..the cheesecake was great dear! haha..cheesy and thick..yummy! had pasta and shepherd's pies too..josiah ate too much and wasn't feeling well..poor boy..haa!
another thing to thank God for: my accounting presentation is over!!! though there was a heart-stopping moment when my fren's com w our powerpt crashed..she was frantic..and i was too..but i prayed to God and we managed to come up w the powerpt slides again..thank God i sent a copy to my fren's e-mail.. =) this much-dreaded presentation is finally over and i'm just so glad! one more marketing to go..and i'm free frm any presentation..haaa!
alright, tmr's sunday..can't wait for it actually..haa..dunno why..today's been a great day and i'm just so thankful for everything God has provided for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
