well..the last time i ended off, i was hoping to attend prayer meeting at night..thank God i did! hee..and i felt so refreshed after tat..thank God for Dn Teo's short exhortation on Isa 40:31 " But they that wait upon the Lord...they shall walk, and not faint" the 2 main words frm tat verse were wait and faint..
WAIT - Dn Teo reminded that waiting gives us an opportunity to trust in the Lord and tat we should wait for God's timing and intervention. Peace is frm God and we should trust in Him wholly.
FAINT - we will not faint as God will give us strength to face adversities in life. Men always ought to pray and not to faint.
thank God for this reminder..and it was just on time..been feeling quite discouraged lately..and i seem too impatient sometimes towards accomplishing certain things..not giving God a chance to intervene..i should have more patience..
anyways, had a great dinner w my family on wed too..went to Fish & Co. ha...my parents were there for the first time...and i think they enjoyed themselves..hee...it's been a long time since we had dinner together as a family..am so thankful for this sweet fellowship we had =D
thank God also for Charissa!! hee..went shopping w her yesterday (thursday) and we talked about alot of things..hee..thankful tat He brought her into my life..and some things she said yesterday made me feel quite guilty of myself..well, am so glad tat at a tender age of 15, she's oredi more mature in her thinking than her peers...i pray tat as she grows older, she'll continue to live her life this way..glorifying to God =D she definitely behaves in a more godly way than some of us =D oh ya, another thing, i bought stuff yesterday hee..haven't spent money in ages..and it definitely feels good..hee..bought slippers, bag and a skirt.. *happy girl*
am looking fwd to more outings w charissa..hee..(hey sweetie, if you're reading this, we must go out more often ya?? *hugs*)
hmm..wont' be gng GTF tis sat cos have proj meeting..but will be meeting up w frens for ktv in the evening..hee..can't wait!! this sun's sermon is bout hell..am praying hard tat he will go..
