~whew! just read thru my marketing notes..haha! am so glad i managed to concentrate..thank God for wisdom! anyways, today's been a good day..despite it being a monday..haha..was supposed to meet yi von for breakfast..but we didn't in e end..o well, there's always next wk! =D well, dear's gng for another field camp..gonna miss him again! =(
thank God for seeing me thru another long day..as usual, i was feeling lethargic and tired..but a 45 mins sleep perked me up..and it REALLY perked me up..didn't doze off at all during marketing tut and accounts lec! for the first time..haha..so now, i'm gng to always take a 45 mins slp on Mondays..haha..
hmm..here's the jeez of yesterday's sermon.. "Commands of Christ Matt 5:33-37"
- an oath is to be taken seriously and as Christians we should regard oaths the same manner as God does. Since God keeps His word, we should keep ours too.
- It is not wrong not to swear. But it's wrong if you vow and not keep your word..Deut 23:21-
23 ( so the next time you think you can't keep a promise, dun make tat promise!)
- "Be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy, for I am holy."
1 Peter 1:13-16
- What we say should reflect what we know about God and our relationship with Him.
yupz..this does not apply to only Christians..but everyone. "Do not stumble others with our words." this is so true to me as sometimes i did not portray good Christian behaviour by saying mean things. frens have told me too tat they decided not to believe in Christianity because their christian frens have made them disappointed by doing certain hurtful things to them.
my prayer is tat i will not cause anyone to not believe because of wat i did which disappointed them or hurt them..
gonna play netball tmr w some of my tut peeps! am so looking fwd to it haa!! hope we'll have fun together..hee..and finally, i'm gng to do some exercising =P
