Thank God for another prayer meeting..feel tat prayer meeting is very impt..but often, i find excuses not to go..laziness is the reason..but i'm glad today, i was actually looking fwd to it.. =)
Eld John talked bout the book of Psalms today..never knew that many hymns were written based on the book of Psalms..it is the largest book in the Bible, with 150 chapters! The chapter that Eld John talked bout is Psalms 46. 2 verses were mentioned, Psa 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." and Psa 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
Once again, i'm reminded that we often do things our own way..and always in a hurry to get things done..forgetting that we should let God's hand guide us..and because God gives us strength and is our protector, we do not have to worry! How many times have we done things in our own way and worry bout how they'll turn out?
Anyways, gonna meet gwyn dear in town later! haa..gotta have lunch and need to go get stuff for combined games day on sat..well, i was kind of worried that everything will not be ready by sat..which is 2 days away..but after tonight's prayer meeting, i realise i've been trying too hard to do everything my way..thank God for this reminder! =D
well, looking fwd to the weekend..and thank GOD! my FM project is almost completed today! thank God my proj mates who were efficient and disciplined..if not, we'd be still struggling w the proj now..yupz..all glory to God Above!
gonna go breakfast w my parents later! i really hope i can wake up this time..so many times i suggested gng breakfast but ended up wanting to sleep.. =( i think my mum's always disappointed cos of tat..feel bad..........
